Nov'07-ongoing: Another new contract given me this
month is with Sterling Holdings International Ltd. and Kwicktest.com.
The project is
to "Design and develop ecommerce sites for their
sales, delivery and marketing."

Edmund Revilla is an ICT consultant. His
areas of expertise include: ICT support outsourcing, system
analysis/design, system
solutions, programming, teaching and training for stand-alone
or interoperable web-based databases, LAN-based systems
and
personal desktop applications. His experience spans eighteen
(18) years with most of the last five years focused on international
work in: Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Kiribati, Laos, Malaysia,
Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, United States and
Vietnam. He leads software development projects, website
development and web programming projects, create/analyze/design
projects,
build programming teams, do software programming, establish
and maintain LANs and internet connectivity, create documentations
and transfer knowledge through training and coaching. OS
platforms used are: Windows 9x/2000/XP, Linux, Unix and
Mac OS. Web
platforms used are: Apache web server, MS IIS, OmniHTTPd,
PostgreSQL, Interbase, MS SQL Server 2000/2005, MySQL, UniVerse,
jBase, Tomcat, CGI, PHP/XAMPP and J2EE. Programming languages
used: Visual Basic for Applications, Visual Basic .NET,
Java,
PHP, HTML/XML, Javascript, BASIC, Pascal, C and FORTRAN 77.
He has almost finished all the requirements
for Ph.D. in Computer Science of the University of the Philippines
Los
Baños (UPLB). He is also a former university professor and
trainor for UPLB, De La Salle University Manila (DLSU) and Asia
Pacific College (APC); a leader of the volunteer group for the
International Students' Service of UPLB; a self-employed software
development
contractor for several private and government organizations like
UPLB, College of Forestry, Department of Science and Technology,
Department of Agriculture-BIOTECH, Department of Environment and
Natural Resources, Food and Nutrition Research Institute, United
Coconut Associations of the Philippines; built an ICT support company
which currently servesr: IASA Inc., Caravan Travels, Zi-Tech
Asia
Inc; a database administrator
and trainer for a European Union-funded project called
ASEAN Regional
Centre for Biodiversity Conservation (ARCBC); an IT team leader
for a several private companies based in Manila, Philippines;
and
an administrator and finance manager for Every Nation Ministries
based in UPLB.
