Your IT Consultant

I am Edmund Revilla, a data analyst, web information system expert, and IT developer/contractor/trainor. My current post is as a consultant for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP).

I have also worked as a consultant of other international organizations like: giz, World Bank, European Union, ASEAN, and International Tropical Timber Organization.  My areas of expertise include: Management Information System analysis/design/implementation, MIS project management, eGovernment Systems, database system solutions, teaching and training in IT and the Biosafety Clearing-house, development of stand-alone or interoperable web-based databases, LAN-based systems, and personal desktop applications.

TRIED AND TESTED

My experience spans twenty-nine (29) years with most of the last fifteen (15) years focused on international work in: Cambodia, China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kiribati, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkmenistan and Viet Nam.

I lead software development projects, create/analyze/design projects, build programming teams, develop/write software, develop secure online payment systems or e-Commerce websites, develop web information systems, create documentations and transfer knowledge through training and coaching.

HOW CAN I SERVE YOU

Web Information Systems

I create online databases (or web information systems) using PHP-MySQL, HTML, Javascript, jQuery, and CSS. Examples of a web information system are e-Government systems. In general, any database wherein users can add/edit/generate reports on the web is a web information system.

Database Systems

I create offline database systems also. This would be similar to web information systems, except that they would not be accessible on the web. The database system will only be accessible within the office/s of the users.

e-Commerce

Along with creating websites, I can extend it to create online stores with online payment systems (i.e. accepts Paypal, MasterCard, or Visa for payment).

Data Analytics

I am a certified data analyst and I can help your organization with its data analytics needs.

Website Creation

I create websites for clients, and turn it over to them for future editing. My clients can edit their websites using a WYSIWYG drag-and-drop online editor. No HTML, Javascript, or jQuery programming required. This is done using a Content Management System that has a drag-and-drop website builder.

Coaching / Training

I have taught and done training in the University of the Philippines Los Baños, De La Salle University Taft, and Asia Pacific College. I also develop training modules and reports for training-of-trainers and capacity-building of Asian countries for the Biosafety Clearing-house project of the UN Environment - Global Environment Facility. I also create manuals and train all the users of the information systems that I develop.
